EZE T1 Bloodless Castration Bander Kit
The EZE T1 Castration Bander provides an easy, fast and bloodless method for castrating. Bander applies a latex band around the scrotum which is secured with an aluminum clip. The band is extremely tight which cuts off blood flow, minimizing stress and discomfort for the animal.
EZE T1 Bander can be used on cattle, goats and sheep. Works especially well on bull calves weighing 400 pounds or more. Bands open 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 4-1/2". The scrotum should safely separate in 20-40 days.
Kit contains the T1 Bander, 25 latex rings, 25 metal clips and an instructional DVD. Delayed, bloodless castration allows producers to take advantage of nature's growth hormone. Bull calves can experience an increased rate of gain both pre- and post- weaning, versus early castration methods. In addition, bloodless castration reduces stress and helps feed intake remain steady.
Administering a tetanus toxoid at the time of castration is highly recommended. Follow label instructions.
