The redesigned 09 01 240 Lineman's pliers feature a reduced rivet moved closer to the jaws providing 25% greater cutting power. The jaws feature an oval-shaped Recess with cross-hatched gripping zones in the jaws and additionally below the jaw for strong gripping of wires and nails. Featuring hardened cutting edges of approximately 64 HRC the lineman has a cutting capacity of 3/16-inch medium hard wire and 1/8-inch hard wire. This set includes a keeper pouch for storage.
